Field notes

Every creator ad needs a rights chain, not another spreadsheet

A practical model for connecting the approved asset, controlling agreement, live placement, territory, term, and final decision.

01

The asset is only the beginning

A filename does not explain who created an asset, what was approved, which edits are permitted, or whether paid-media use is still active. A durable record starts with the original asset and keeps every approved variation attached to it.

02

Permission has operating dimensions

Dates, territories, channels, edit rights, exclusivity, whitelisting, synthetic-media clauses, and renewal terms all change whether a specific placement is authorized. Those values need to stay beside the source agreement and be confirmed by a person.

03

Live use completes the chain

The final link is the advertisement itself: account, platform, territory, campaign dates, spend, and current status. When that link exists, an expiration becomes a clear decision instead of a late discovery.

Operational note

STRIQ field notes explain workflow design. They are not legal advice, and the source agreement remains the controlling record.
